I had my session today and from the moment I entered the studio, Audrey made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. She explained the color theory well and I learned a lot from her. My daughter had been asking for a color match consultation for a present and Audrey did not disappoint! She was extremely thorough, informative and kind. She made my daughter feel extremely comfortable. The day after the consultation, my daughter that dislikes shopping and trying new clothing wanted to go on a shopping trip. She took her color palatte with her and selected several new items of clothing that she never would have tried before. I can see the confidence growing in her already. Lindsey, my daughter, and I used Color Match Studio and had a blast. Audrey is so wonderful, she taught us about color and showed us the colors that suit our complexion. It's so eye opening to actually see in a mirror why you gravitate towards certain colors. The correct colors actually make you feel and look better. She also looked through our makeup to make sure we were using the correct shades of cosmetics. We have a bag of discarded cosmetics that were not in the correct shade for our skin tones. When you leave, you have a color fan with shade to take shopping and use in your own closet.

What a great experience! Audrey is the best! My 12 year old daughter asked to have her colors done, so we made an appointment with Audrey. Audrey really opened my mind to what an impact colors have on your appearance. We want our natural beauty to shine though and not have it lost with colors that don't suit us. I can't wait to come back and have my colors done. Even the makeup Audrey chose (in my daughter's colors) made a huge difference! I'm sold! My daughter went home with her color swatchbook and is now excited to hunt for clothing in her colors.Something very interesting that came up was that a true white wedding dress (in the very distant future) would not be the best choice for my daughter because true white is not one of her colors. I'm so grateful for this information. My daughter now has what she needs to look and feel her best for the rest of her life! She can choose a shade that will better suit her in the future. Audrey taught me all about the TCI method in a way that I could understand, which by the way is quite fascinating. Just the history made me want to dig into in more after I got home. But wait, there’s more! Let’s get to the actual analysis!!! I had absolutely no idea that I would be a True Autumn! I’ve always been drawn to the colors, but who knew!!!! Audrey was so kind and friendly while going through the process and she explained all of her thoughts. I dragged my husband to this session as he wasn't convinced that colors can be objectively analyze. He was surprised at how methodical Audrey was in her presentation and evaluation. We both could see the effect of difference colors on my skin tone. Before I came to the session I read Color Me Beautiful. Because I am Asian with dark hair and eyes, I pretty much knew that I was a winter. During the session, I found out that I was a dark winter which didn't surprise me as I gravitated towards jewel tones and have gotten compliments when I wore these colors. What surprised me was the make up session. Culturally Asian associates bright with young and dark with old, so my makeup tend to fall on the light side. I was never interested in anything vampy/goth/grunge type of colors. Surprisingly they look natural on me. Not only that but they bring out my the shine in my hair and eyes. I am quite shocked as I would have never venture to the dark side without Audrey's insistence.
Overall, this session really help put a label and reinforce my intuition. The color swatch Audrey gave me was high quality and upon matching it to the clothes in my closet, 90% of what I owned was on the swatch. This gave me confidence in my color choices and help save time and money from buying clothes/makeup on a trial and error basis. $2xx seems like alot but the 10% of the subpar makeup and clothing that owned costed more than this. I felt that my with Audrey session was well worth it. I can't wait to bring my son have his done!
